Client requested Materials Identification on the grey/black particulates found in the glass of the tap water. Scanning Through laboratory testing, studies of the submitted material showed a match to rust, synthetic fibers, and components that can be found in some type of lubricants and surfactants (e.g. hand soap). The findings were linked later to the contamination found on the top of the kitchen faucet.
