Description	NIOSH (National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health) Method 9002 is a PLM (Polarized Light Microscopy) qualitative and semi-quantitative method for the determination of asbestos in bulk samples. The method is not applicable to samples containing large amounts of fine fibers below the resolution of the light microscope (approximately .3 microns)
