Title LA Testing Laboratory Goes Green and They Don’t Mean with Mold
Introduction Environmental Laboratory Begins Utilizing Hybrid Courier Vehicles to Protect the Air.

LA Testing, a laboratory division of EMSL Analytical which is one of the nation’s largest environmental laboratories, recently began to convert their fleet of courier vehicles to new hybrid technologies.  The concern over pollution and green house gases prompted the environmental company to make the important decision.

“As a leading environmental laboratory we felt it was imperative to lead by example and do all that we can to be a good citizen of the great state of California,” said Paul Cochrane, Business Development Director for EMSL Analytical.  “If all companies take small steps to reduce our dependence on fossil fuels we will make a healthier future for our neighbors and future generations,” Cochrane continued.

LA Testing is one of Southern California’s most prominent environmental testing laboratories.  The company has offices in Los Alamitos and South Pasadena and provides advanced laboratory testing services ranging from mold, industrial hygiene, chemistry, and asbestos analyses.  The company offers free courier service in select regions around the LA Testing and affiliated EMSL Analytical laboratory locations.

The division’s parent company, EMSL Analytical, is currently putting the final touches on a new 107,000 square feet corporate headquarters and has added at great cost numerous skylights to reduce the need for electrical lighting throughout the enormous facility.

“Being one of the largest and fastest growing environmental laboratory networks in the nation comes with the added responsibility of being a leader in more than just the service we provide in the laboratory,” said Joe Frasca, Senior Vice President, Marketing at EMSL Analytical.
