More than half of California households (about 57%) own a pet. While pets bring joy and companionship, they can also contribute to indoor environmental quality (IEQ) challenges caused by odors and allergens.

Nationwide studies show that dog and cat allergens are present in nearly all U.S. homes, even those without pets.”
